Location and access

The conference will be held in the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, set within the medieval Berbie Palace, the former episcopal bishops’ palace built during the 13th century.

The Museum is one of the largest international contemporary museums. It now houses the work of the Albi-born painter, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. More than 1,000 works, including his famous posters, are housed in the Museum. Paintings from his youth, portraits of friends and family - as well as his lithographs, make this collection exceptional.

Access

The conference will be held in Albi, one hour from Toulouse. We will be hosted by the Museum Toulouse-Lautrec, at a few steps from the Medieval Cathedral Sainte-Cécile. 

Albi is located 70 km from Toulouse and can be reached by direct flights from most of the larger cities, followed by the one hour trip to Albi via a direct highway or train.

Plane to Toulouse or Rodez

The nearest airport is "Toulouse-Blagnac". It is 8 km (5 miles) northwest of Toulouse and 84 kms (52 miles) south west of Albi. As Toulouse is the home of Airbus and a major industrial city, connections are excellent. Destinations include all the major French cities like Paris, Lille Lyon, Nantes, Strasbourg, Nice and more. There is another airport on the other side of Albi, "Rodez-Marcillac" Airport. It is 78 kms (49 miles) north east of Albi. There are flight connections from Paris, London, Dublin and Brussels.

By car

By shuttle

You can book a shuttle from the airport to Albi, but it is highly recommended to reserve in advance. In the airport, the inter-ligne shuttle service has a booth at the ground floor – Arrivals – Hall B, near the rental car companies. For information, the price for one way shuttle ticket is between 60 € and 82,50 € (quickest departure)

By Taxi

You can book your taxi at any time using the Airport call center. Taxis are located on the ground level (arrivals area between gate B3 and C1).

By train

You can also take the TER (regional train). You'll have to go to Toulouse-Matabiau train station either by taxi / public transport (bus 66- Metro A) or by the shuttle from the airport to the town centre. There are 17 trains a day from Toulouse to Albi. ATTENTION : tickets must be stamped before the departure at yellow machines.
